Shareholders Information
A number of hui to gauge the benefits that Shareholders want from the Incorporation into the future were held in 2013-2014. Three themes have come through this korero, they are as follows.
Engagement
The whenua provides a touch-point for the owners and their descendants in order to gain pride in their asset. Between the Commercial properties run by Pukeroa Oruawhata and the farming estate run by the Incorporation, the owners want to engage more.
Benefits
The owners need to receive a benefit – these could be through increased grants, support for the marae, support to get into employment and for those overseas, being able to get regular updates and information, so a range of benefits are sought.
Sustainability
If a dividend or the like is to be paid it needs to be sustainable, not just a one-off. We are working hard towards making this a reality and investigating different methods of doing this.
Bank Deposit Authority Form
- Our Bank Deposit Authority Form (BDA Form) needs to be completed by Shareholders, with ID attached, who want to change the Bank Account number that we have on file for the Shareholder to receive any dividend payments from NWTL.
Change of Address Form
- This form is for current Shareholders who want to change their address on file (so they get notifications of AGMs and other relevant correspondence from NWTL). This form also needs to have their ID attached to it.
