Farming operations continue to trend in line with overall budget expectations. Fertiliser has been brought forward for the silage country to try and increase the chance of a good silage harvest. A Draft drought Matrix has also been developed for the Farms.

Wharenui Station: Pasture growth rates are increasing on Wharenui. The 2 year bulls are growing well and now averaging around 440kg.

Tihi-o-Tonga Station: Trade heifers are averaging 360kg and the Steers at 460kg. We expect to send out the first local-trade heifers in November with the steers shortly after. Wagyu Heifers are yet to be weighed this month. Docking has started and lambs are significantly better than last year.

Ngongotahā Station: Remaining R2 Cattle will be killed in the next 10 days. 50 Autumn born calves have come over from Wharenui Station.
