About Us

Mana Whenua. Mana Tāngata

The Incorporation was formed on July 26th 1960 by uniting 34 Māori land blocks held by Ngāti Whakaue descendants.]

The Incorporation has grown since that time and now not only manages sheep and cattle farms but holds a number of leases, primarily around Radio/TV & Mobile services with a number of providers.

We also have houses located on our farms which we rent out from time to time. In addition we have small parcels of land leased for other purposes such as 1.7 hectares leased to OGO Ltd – an adventure tourism venture and the Observer, both of which are located on the ngongotahā strip.
