We have continued to get good rainfall across all the farms, with c. 60mm over the last ten days. Thanks to a lack of frost and northerly rain, soil temperatures have stayed higher for longer and we have had a good recovery in pasture covers from earlier last month.
The NZD has fallen against most of our main trading partners. This should help provide some relief to the lamb schedule. The Farms are getting through the lamb kill.
On farms the cattle kill is all but completed with only 56 head left to kill this season. Wagyu are doing well.
